Good to know: You do not need to reinstall the app to make a request. If you only played as a guest and never provided an email address, you may have no cloud account to delete.
How the process works
- Sign in. Enter the email address on the existing Neuriosity account and verify the one-time code sent to that inbox.
- Confirm the request. Review what will be removed and type DELETE exactly.
- Delete the account. The secure server process removes the account and associated cloud data, signs you out, and clears Neuriosity data stored by the current browser.
What will be deleted
After we verify your request, we will delete or de-identify the personal information associated with your Neuriosity account, including:
- Your authentication account and account email in Neuriosity’s backend.
- Your Neuriosity profile.
- Cloud-synced game results and personal best scores tied to the account.
- Newsletter consent records tied to the account.
- Your subscriber record on Neuriosity’s marketing list, unless a limited suppression record must be kept to honor your unsubscribe choice.
Account deletion is permanent. Deleted cloud scores and progress cannot be restored.
Data stored on your devices
Successful deletion clears Neuriosity sign-in, unlock, score, and history data stored by the browser used for the request. Other browsers and devices cannot be cleared remotely. On each additional device, use Clear data on this device in Settings, clear Neuriosity site data in the browser, or remove the app.
Information we may retain
We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or to document that a deletion or unsubscribe request was completed. We may also keep aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you.
Other data controls
- Stop marketing emails: Use the unsubscribe link in any Neuriosity email.
- Clear one device: Use “Clear data on this device” in Settings to sign out and erase Neuriosity data stored on that device.
- Clear cloud scores: While signed in, use “Clear my best scores” in Settings. This removes cloud score history but does not delete the account itself.
